Facing the sea and embracing the mountains, this spectacular, contemporary home sits on 1.75 acres overlooking the glistening ocean water of the Strait of Georgia. The Comox Coastal Estate has the charm of a semi-rural property, but with urban sophistication and taste. Nature and wildlife abound on and around this tranquil property, which includes 1 acre of conservation lands with an active eagle breeding nest and 3 quarters of an acre of beautifully landscaped lawn and gardens. Expansive roof top decks provide stunning ocean and mountain views and floor to ceiling, ocean facing, windows continue the views indoors.

As you step through the front door you are greeted by a modern design floating staircase and suspended walkway. Pass through to the open plan great room which hosts a spectacular, fully equipped kitchen with generous island and counter seating. The elegant dining area seats eight and has a sophisticated built-in bar. The living room is chicly furnished with modern fireplace and provides Smart TV and Netflix access with surround sound system. Adjoining the great room is a relaxed family room with second Smart TV with Netflix access. The full, modern downstairs bathroom services the main floor and guest bedroom which has a queen bed. On the ground level you will find a separate laundry room with washer and dryer for your use and exit to the garage or to the fully fenced backyard with outdoor patio dining, fire pit and beautifully landscaped gardens with fruit trees and vegetable garden in season.

The second floor presents to two spectacular, spacious master suites with incredible ocean views. One master with king bed features Carrara marble ensuite, heated floors, double floating vanity, walk-in shower and luxury spa bathtub, plus access your own roof top deck with comfortable seating for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The second master bedroom boasts the best views in the house and has a queen bed and full ensuite with walk-in shower, modern vanity and heated floors. A comfortable computer station is provided on the second floor for your convenience.

The crowning splendor of this home is the expansive rooftop deck with resort style furnishings for conversation and lounging. A built-it outdoor kitchen centre is complete with BBQ, beverage fridge and is fully equipped for outdoor entertaining.     One word to describe this home is “perfection !” The home is in a quiet location with views . The main floor is laid out well with a large kitchen and open living area great for family gatherings. The upstairs outside deck has unbelievable views with a fire pit and outside grilling area. Definitely would rent this place again.

    We had a wonderful vacation in this bright spacious home. We had many great moments on the great deck with the outdoor kitchen, taking in the ocean views and evening stars. Our kids had a blast running in the backyard and counting the airplanes that flew by!
