In nearby Colwood, you can explore Fort Rodd Hill, Canada's original British fort, Hatley Castle historic site and grounds of the Royal Roads University they also filmed X-Men there!.

The Cowichan Valley is the Napa of Vancouver Island with dozens of wineries toexplore, some boasting the finest wine in Canada.
